See the world through new eyes. Become fluent in the language of drawing. Appreciate form, contour, light, and negative space in a new way. In this class, we explore pencil, charcoal, and ink drawing while building skill and confidence in our ability to accurately depict objects, interiors, and ourselves. These exercises are engaging and life changing. Elissa will use demonstration, still-life setups, the interior of the Athenaeum, master copies, and the class to pose for gesture drawings. Work in a supportive nonjudgmental environment and enjoy the growth you see in yourself and your peers each day.
