The female model will be in the same seated pose for all eight weeks. Beginners are welcome, and the experienced sculptor can create more than one piece with different interpretations. There will be demonstrations and casual short lectures. Each student receives individual attention according to their level of expertise and goals. Ask about the discount available with membership.

ENROLLMENT: Art classes are limited to approximately 18-20 students for adult classes and 12-15 students for children’s classes. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
CLASS POLICY: Visitors are not allowed in the classroom. If you wish to sit in on a class, you must enroll.
SCHOOL REFUND POLICY: No exceptions made. A full refund will be given only if a class, workshop or tour is cancelled, filled prior to the receipt of your registration, or if the teacher does not accept you as a student. A credit for another class in the next Athenaeum’s School of the Arts season will be extended to students who are unable to attend and have notified the Athenaeum’s School of the Arts staff at least one week prior to the beginning of the class.
CANCELLATIONS: The Athenaeum reserves the right to cancel classes and workshops prior to or at the beginning of the first class meeting. A full refund will be given automatically or tuition may be applied towards another course during the current session depending on availability.
