MORE INFORMATION Athenaeum's School of the Arts Course #20: Trees of Balboa Park Instructor: Irina Gronborg Mon, 10 AM–4 PM (1 hour break) July 9 (1 day) On Location, Balboa Park, Desert Garden $100/120 Spend a day in our beautiful Balboa Park and learn to capture large, complex trees in small sketches in your sketchbook. We will meet in Balboa Park in the Desert Garden on Park Blvd. Materials: Bring 4B graphite); sharpener; eraser; sketchbook of any size; lightweight chair; sun protection; water and picnic lunch. ********************************************************** IMPORTANT: The Athenaeum verifies all transactions for active library membership status and reserves the right to charge the difference in member and nonmember ticket price. The library is open Tuesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., and Wednesday, 10 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. The library is closed on Sunday and Monday. ENROLLMENT: Art classes are limited to approximately 18-20 students for adult classes and 12-15 students for children’s classes. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. CLASS POLICY: Visitors are not allowed in the classroom. If you wish to sit in on a class, you must enroll. SCHOOL REFUND POLICY: No exceptions made. A full refund will be given only if a class, workshop or tour is cancelled, filled prior to the receipt of your registration, or if the teacher does not accept you as a student. A credit for another class in the next Athenaeum’s School of the Arts season will be extended to students who are unable to attend and have notified the Athenaeum’s School of the Arts staff at least one week prior to the beginning of the class. CANCELLATIONS: The Athenaeum reserves the right to cancel classes and workshops prior to or at the beginning of the first class meeting. A full refund will be given automatically or tuition may be applied towards another course during the current session depending on availability.
